SPECIAL PROJECTS
Julie partners with organizations on focused HR initiatives designed to strengthen HR teams and build healthier, more engaged workplaces. Her special projects sit at the intersection of strategy, people, and care, supporting HR functions through transformation while helping organizations design engagement and wellbeing strategies that are practical, sustainable, and fit for the realities of modern work. Each project is thoughtfully scoped, collaborative, and grounded in real-world HR experience.

HR Team Transformations
Julie works with organizations to design, reset, or rebuild HR teams so they are fit for purpose and aligned with business needs. This work may include HR team audits, role clarity and restructuring, capability assessments, and building HR teams from the ground up. The focus is on creating clear structures, strengthening confidence, and enabling HR teams to operate as strategic partners rather than reactive functions.
Employee Engagement
Engagement work begins with listening. Julie reviews engagement data and works closely with leaders, HR teams, and engagement champions to identify priorities and co-create meaningful engagement frameworks. Rather than one-off initiatives, this approach focuses on sustainable practices that improve trust, communication, accountability, and the overall employee experience, turning insight into action at every level of the organization.

Wellbeing & EAP Strategy
Julie supports organizations in assessing and strengthening their wellbeing approaches through EAP audits, program design, and capability building. This includes reviewing existing EAP offerings, designing or sourcing fit-for-purpose programs, and hiring or training wellbeing champions to support employees at a local level. The goal is to move beyond surface-level wellbeing initiatives and create systems of care that are intentional, accessible, and genuinely supportive.
